Lisa Marie Presley Memoir

Random House announced the title of the new Lisa Marie Presley memoir scheduled for release on October 15. Entitled From Here to the Great Unknown.

Lisa Marie Presley’s memoir will be posthumously published with her daughter Riley Keough serving as co-author on the tome.

The Always Elvis Fan Club will include the memoir as well as lithograph autographed by Riley Keough (Elvis’ granddaughter) as part of our Legacy Giveaway later this fall.

Keough will read the audiobook for the memoir, which will also feature Lisa Marie’s own voice from the aforementioned tapes.

“Few people had the opportunity to know who my mom really was, other than being Elvis’s daughter,” Keough said in a statement. “I was lucky to have had that opportunity and working on preparing her autobiography for publication has been a privilege, albeit a bittersweet one. I’m so excited to share my mom now, at her most vulnerable and most honest, and in doing so, I do hope that readers come to love my mom as much as I did.”

Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, died in January 2023 due to complications of a small bowel obstruction. Days before her death, Lisa Marie and Priscilla attended the Golden Globes, where Austin Butler, who portrayed Elvis in the biopic about the musician, was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama.

The announcement of the memoir comes one day before the one-year anniversary of Lisa Marie’s January 12, 2023, death.

“Riley knew that it was time for Lisa Marie’s voice to be heard,” Random House added of the memoir. “She listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs at Graceland, just the two of them, a sanctuary from the chaos of her life. About Lisa Marie’s complicated relationship with her mother Priscilla. About growing up with the clicking cameras perpetually at the door. About her own wild love stories, and her marriages to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage. About motherhood and the shattering loss of her son, Riley’s brother Benjamin Keough, to suicide.”
