Fan Club Donates To St. Jude Children Research Hospital

The Always Elvis Fan Club completed its annual charity donations with the latest contribution to St. Jude Children Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. Thanks to our Legacy Contributors we provided a donation along with previous contributions accumulated during our eBay Charity auctions for a total of $1,042.14 to St. Jude Children Research Hospital. A special thank you to those club members that donated items for the auctions and the Elvis fans that made the purchases.

Our latest contribution to St. Jude was dedicated in memory of Elvis Presley and his support to this charity during his lifetime. In 1964 Elvis purchased the USS Potomac yacht and donated it to Danny Thomas the founder of the research hospital. In turn, the yacht was then sold for $75,000 (over $650,000 today) with proceeds going to the hospital.
